I’ve completed The Great Rewrite from third person POV to first. In my (not-so-humble) opinion, it’s a much better story now. I think I’m getting into Lontano’s head more easily and sharing more of his emotions.
Now what? Well, I’m attending a virtual conference this week — from the League of Utah Writers — and I purchased some pitch sessions with a few agents and editors. We’ll see what they think about the new, improved version.
I’m also going to re-query some of the agents who took the time to send me a personal rejection note and let them know I’ve done a MAJOR rewrite.
