I have successfully figured out (with a little help) how to arrange a freebies page – if you sign up for the newsletter, you get a FREE STORY telling how the band members got their nicknames. That took a bit of doing, I can tell you.
First, I had to convert the story into three formats: pdf, epub and mobi. David Gaughran did a nifty webinar with Jericho Writers Summer Festival of Writing and he mentioned he uses BookFunnel, so I checked that out. It’s not free, but if I want to get the email list going and give out a freebie, it’s a lifesaver.
I feel quite accomplished that I was able to navigate this process with only a couple of side-Googles. I even created an El Cheap-O book cover for said story! Yes, quite chuffed.
