Just finished watching a thought-provoking sci-fi film based on a Robert Silverberg short story.
The movie stars Leslie Odom, Jr & Cynthia Erivo as lovers whose lives are disrupted by the time-traveling vacations of their uber-rich friend, played by Orlando Bloom. Seems he still loves Cynthia’s character after their divorce and is trying to go back and change things so they are together again. I’m not going to tell you any spoilers, but the ending is lovely.
I can only hope my own stories are as riveting and convoluted as this story. I usually don’t watch movies straight through outside of a theater (ADD attention span) but I did this one. If you haven’t seen it, I heartily recommend it. It’s not an action-packed, explosive-filled thriller, but it raises questions about love, time, and fate that you’ll still be thinking about long after the movie is over.
