I seem to be on a TV/Movie kick, watching shows instead of knuckling down to write. Need to lay off the screen time some!
Neil Gaiman’s “Sandman” series, however, is worth binging. I must confess that I have not read the entire graphic novel series. I know, mea culpa. But from what I remember reading, they’re sticking pretty close to the look & feel of the thing.
Tom Sturridge is doing a good job as our hero, Dream, and I’m enjoying the other characters as well. No spoilers, so if you haven’t read the comics, I’m not going to give you any hints about who and/or what there may be coming up. But if you like spooky mythological science-fiction, you’ll enjoy this show.
