My talk seemed to go over well today. At least, most everyone seemed interested and I got some good questions afterwards and sold some copies of the book, so that’s great. I think, after it’s all said and done, though, that I’ll change things up and restructure the lecture into a participatory event where the audience will be asked to come up with characters, clues, red herrings, and a culprit and sleuth. I think it would be much more fun for them to be part of the talk instead of just listening to me ramble on.
Hopefully, the owner of the local bookstore can come up with some more gigs for me in the future!
