So I’ve been elected Board Member at Large with the local Sisters in Crime chapter, specializing in working on our new website. We’ve just about finished with it, only we now have a new problem. The chapter has been hosting Zoom meetings with guest lecturers and some of them seem to have expired somehow–or at least, the links we were given aren’t working properly. We don’t want to put them onto YouTube because then there would be no reason to join the chapter because all the videos would be free. However, none of us knows another way to save video. We decided to pass the buck and send this problem to the main board for discussion and research.
The website is going to look really good anyway, whether or not we get the zoom links sorted out before it goes live. We’ve really worked hard on producing a quality site, using WordPress with Elementor, which is a good combination that allows a bunch of neophytes to figure out how to get things looking exactly as we want them to look. Once we go live, I’ll post a link on the main links page!
