We’re back on the coast for a week, though this year not all of us could join the crowd. We do have two new additions: Jer and Bethany, though Bethany couldn’t get off work until today. She should arrive later this evening. Patrick had to wait until Monday morning to drive down, but he arrived at breakfast, so he’s had nearly a full week.
You can see we’re very close to the new pier, so we’ve got somewhere to play if we so choose. The view is great, even though with my bum knee, I can’t walk on the shifting sands to look for shells. I’ll be swinging by a shell store on my way out…
I’m a little irritated that I have to spend my week on the sofa (or in a rocking chair on the porch), but at least I’m at the beach, right?
