The knee is giving me fits still. My surgeon wants to take a conservative approach and not operate. Instead, I got another steroid shot and am going to be getting injections of hyaluronic acid into the joint every six months or so. This is supposed to replace some of the synovial fluid that lubricated the bones in there, since most of my cartilage has worn away from age. Man, now I really do feel old!
I’ve fallen a bit behind on my posts, thus the real life update instead of a writing or sci-fi related subject. Next up, however, is the monthly Insecure Writer’s Support Group post, which promises to be interesting!
