This is the first in a new series by Renee Jagger and Michael Anderle.
The book is about a dwarf named Val Stonehold who is hired to be the bodyguard for the princess. Her trouble is, she needs to learn about the world outside the Iron Hills to be effective as that bodyguard. I’ve just started, so no idea if I’ll end up liking it or not. I’ll let you know in a later post!
